Promotional aluminum toy of the Alfa Romeo racing car model Alfetta 159 from 1951. The car depicted here was a champion, with Nino FARINA in 1950 and Manuel FANGIO at the wheel in 1951. This is an exclusive model 38 cm long at a large scale (1/10th), issued in a very limited series, distributed only at the time to the drivers of the Alfa team and a very select few journalists. SAURER, a mechanic from the Alfa Corse team in 1951, then the highly esteemed Giansanti COLLUCCI, who was the head of the FULGUREX company in Lausanne. STELLINI, a model maker at FULGUREX. The current owner is a seasoned collector of Alfa Romeo and Maserati. The promotional toy is complete with its official lead seal, placed under the car.
